“Believe in yourself, don’t be afraid,
Be industrious, don’t worry about pinnacle.
If you want success always move ahead,
Never look back, patiently wait.
Have firm determination, think positive,
Be strong, if you want to live.
Don’t get frightened by the problems, play them as a game.
Your good qualities will fetch you fame.
Nothing is impossible just use your brain.
Once it is on the track, it runs as fast as a train.
So if you don’t succeed, try anew,
If you face the sun, all shadows fall behind you”.
An inspirational example is of “Thomas Edison” who failed 9,000 times before inventing light bulb. A reporter asked him how it felt to fail over 9,000 times. Edison replied that he was glad to find 9,000 ways not to invent light bulb. Triumphs don’t come without effort. Nature too teaches us this. We should always learn the lesson of discipline, patience and tolerance from our day today examples present in our nature. Nature is the best teacher. The ants teach us to make continuous efforts in life whereas the spider motivates us not to lose patience and always endure and be the winner. It is also said in Devvani that,
उद्यमेन हि सिध्यन्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः ।
न हि सुप्तस्य सिंहस्य प्रविशन्ति मुखे मृगाः ।।
(Work gets accomplished by effort, industry, not merely by wishing. The animals don't enter a sleeping lion's mouth)
Thus I would bless my students with this thought that “Excellence is never an accident”.
